About the author

In the mid-1990’s one of my pastors, Brian Onken, now director of The River in Greenville, SC, guided our church on a journey through the book of Mark over a period of months. I felt drawn in as if I had been the 13th disciple. I was meeting Jesus for the first time all over again! Despite some stumbling, that journey continues today. I find Jesus more unsettling, stunning, overwhelming and compelling than ever.

A natural result is the desire to show others that Jesus is the treasure. So I seek to build bridges of friendship to atheists, Muslims, agnostics, Buddhists, neo-pagans, Watchtower members, Hindus, Mormons, homosexuals, and others.  I have friends in several of these groups and want to include others.

The journey of a follower of Jesus is best done with others. We all need to be discipled by multiple fellow disciples. In that spirit, please leave a comment with what the Holy Spirit is teaching you. I value other views!

Grace to you,

Stephen Enjaian
